AuctionShed is a new European auction platform built for transparency, fair pricing, and trust. Our goal is simple: make buying and selling fun, while keeping it clear, secure, and affordable for everyone.

The Role

We are looking for a talented Web Developer to join us at AuctionShed. You will start part-time, helping to stabilize and refine the platform, and gradually grow with us as we expand. If you believe in building something meaningful from the ground up, this is your chance to be part of a fast-growing marketplace with real impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve our platform

  • Integrate and experiment with AI tools (automation, image recognition, moderation, etc.)

  • Strengthen security and platform reliability

  • Troubleshoot, test, and refine the vendor/buyer experience

  • Shape new features and workflows

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven web development experience (PHP, JS, CSS)

  • Good understanding of WP, WC, Dokan and elementor.

  • Curiosity or experience with AI integrations (OpenAI, API tools)

  • Awareness of web security best practices

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently

  • Comfortable communicating in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with multilingual or multi-domain setups.

  • Familiarity with Stripe Connect, Boxtal, or other e-commerce APIs

  • Eye for detail and responsive design (mobile-first mindset)

Offer and Growth Path

We are starting with a freelance collaboration or part time employment contract for 18 hours a week, focused on the platform launch and first phase of development. This initial 3-month trial period we will evaluate workflow, compatibility, and results.

If we are a great match, the collaboration will extend with increased hours, and a long-term role. We believe in rewarding dedication and giving every team member a real chance to grow with us.
